Convert a WS_FTP configuration file to a format for FileZilla.

I originally read about this script here.  Decided to include the script below:

Windows Vista, 7, Server 2008, 2008 R2 and newer Windows operating systems do not allow a user that is NOT the local Administrator access to the UNC location of c$ as it is considered an administrative share. This is a security within UAC (That I recommend leaving intact, I like security). Wiki makes mention of re enabling the access here.  There is mention of this in a answer page on Microsoft here.  A workaround is to create a folder and share that, then from the second machine UNC to \\hostname\sharename replacing ‘hostname’ with the hostname or IP and replacing ‘sharename’ with the name of the share created.  I failed to realize this right away and was trying to connect to \\hostname\c$\sharename unsuccessfully.

What would ChickenTuna do?

Posted by Rose Bush on August 6th, 2012

It’s no surprise to anyone that has known me more than a year that I used to be big, as in obese, as in  severely/morbidly obese depending on how you looked at it.  My body mass index was 39.3.  Per the wiki on Obesity:

  • Any BMI ≥ 35 or 40 is severe obesity
  • A BMI of ≥ 35 or 40–44.9 or 49.9 is morbid obesity
  • A BMI of ≥ 45 or 50 is super obesity
My current BMI is 22.9, I put on a few pounds in the past week 😐   .  As best as I can tell, I am down to about 30 lbs of fat, which is far below where I started.  Due to my recent weight gain, I have felt motivated to do _________ about it.  I recently came upon a post on reddit:

ᔥ Looking in the couch : hardbodies

Someone posted who she was, and my research ensued. She has an active facebook following:

Just wow.  No BS, no gimmicks, truth, self determination, self control.  She is such an inspiration.  If she can look that good at 44, I wonder how good I can look by 34.  It needs to be a very personal challenge for a leaner self.  WWCTD?

2 Years AND I got a prescription today.

Today marks the two year anniversary of my relationship with Ghie. I love her with all of my heart and do not feel worthy of a love so pure and unwavering. I also got a prescription today, I am VERY excited to get this prescription!  Actually, it is two prescriptions, I picked one up on lunch, but the other is mail order.  I hope to have it by weeks end.  I am looking forward to a lifetime of love and happiness with my mahal ko.

I want to make further mention as to my girlfriend.  I have never seen someone so full of love.  She has gladly stuck by me even as I have changed and grown.  She has assured me that no mater how I look on the outside, that she will always love me for who I am on the inside.  I feel very blessed to share my life and love with her.  I am hers, forevermore.

PS:  DOMA, you will come down!  [maniacal laugh goes here]

First day of Spring

Posted by Rose Bush on March 20th, 2012

A day for new beginnings.  This was particularly meaningful for me today.  I had an appointment with Dr. Goodman from the Mazzoni Center located on 809 Locust St in Philadelphia at 4:20 PM EST.  They took some blood for tests and scheduled me to come back April 26th.  I know its only 25 days away, but I am very excited.  On a side note, I found a Groupon for laser hair removal.  I am getting six sessions on the face for under $300.00, the caveat is that the place is rather far away.  It is near Baltimore of all places.  I am looking forward to saving money on razors.
