I found her.

For all of those of you that have known me since my grade school days, I had 2 crushes. I had heard rumor of one of them dying and as of today ( April 24th, 2008 ) I found it was true. Here is a copy of the obituary I found referenced in our local paper:

Age 22 of Wilmington, DE passed away suddenly on Friday, May 20, 2005.

Amanda was born in Wilmington, DE on August 26, 1982. She attended Our Lady of Fatima grade school and St. Mark’s High School. She had a gift with animals. Her sunny personality will be missed by her friends, family and her pets. She always had a hug and an “I love you” for everyone.

She is survived by her mother, Margaret Ann Klair; her father, James T. Ashcraft; her grandmothers, Reba M. Ashcraft and Margaret Ann McCormack; aunts and uncles, Leon T. Ashcraft, Faith and Butch Smith, Jane and Dane Clark and David and Regina Ashcraft; cousins, Justin, Joshua and Jason Smith, Jill Anna, Alison, Nathan and Matthew Clark and David, Italia and Thomas Ashcraft.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Resurrection Parish, 3000 Videre Drive, Skyline Ridge, on Tuesday morning, May 24th, at 10 am. Friends may call at the DOHERTY FUNERAL HOME, 3200 Limestone Rd., Pike Creek, on Monday evening, May 23rd, from 6-8 pm. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery. To send condolences, visit
